Distinguished Chair in Futures Markets

The Thomas A. Hieronymus Distinguished Chair recognizes an applied economist who has achieved a distinguished career as an educator, researcher, and counselor in futures and speculative markets. Established with funds provided from private gifts, the Chair honors Professor Emeritus Thomas A. Hieronymus, an internationally recognized scholar and University of Illinois graduate and faculty member.

Professor Philip Garcia is the Director of OFOR and holds the Thomas A. Hieronymus Distinguished Chair.

The Director Emeritus of OFOR is Professor Emeritus Raymond M. Leuthold.
